There are no apparent restrictions. The Department of Transportation may issue restrictions when conditions dictate. No information on seasonal weight restrictions is readily available. The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists to expect brief traffic stoppages lasting approximately one minute in both directions along State Route 9A between Beverly Road and Old Saw Mill River Road in the Town of Mount Pleasant on weekdays at approximately noon, beginning Thursday, February 3 through Monday, February 28, to accommodate blasting operations, weather permitting.
Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone, and convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual's driver's license.
