Over 12' you need 1 escort/pilot car
Over 13'6" you need 2 escort/pilot car
At 15' and above you need 2 escort/pilot cars and state police (the number of police officers will be determined on a case by case basis)
Length:
Over 80' you need 1 escort/pilot car
Over 95' you need 2 escorts/pilot cars
Over 115' you need 2 state police escorts
At 134' and above you need 2 civilian escort/pilot cars and state police escorts. (the number of police officers will be determined on a case by case basis)
Height:
Over 13'8" you will need a high pole escort and a route survey
Over 13'11" you will need 2 escorts (based on your route additional safety measure and reviews may be required)
Over 14'11" you will need 2 civilian escorts plus state police escorts (based on your route additional safety measure and reviews may be required)
On the turnpike if your dimensions exceed 12 feet wide, 100 feet long or 130,000lbs you will need a police escort.
