ANNUAL (BLANKET) PERMIT


Dimensions may not exceed: 

  • Width: 12 feet 
  • Height: 14 feet
  • Length: 75 feet
  • Gross weight may not exceed 80,000 pounds (40 Tons)


Truck-Tractor must be properly registered in Maryland. (If IRP registered, the cab card must be available for inspection). (Note: the truck-tractor may be apportioned for Maryland). 

Semi-trailer or trailer must be properly registered in Maryland. 

A vehicle under its own power must display a Maryland Special Mobile Equipment Plate. 

Cost: The monthly permit fee is $50.00. 

The yearly permit fee is $500.00.
